Personal Best

Personal Best is a concert march requiring all instruments to make important contributions both melodically and rhythmically.

The introduction makes some demands on flutes, alto saxes, trumpets, and snare drum in terms of 16th notes and syncopation, but the figures are easily learned.

The large instruments are featured in a challenging but fun-to-play section midway through the piece
