Quest of the Bold

Quest of the Bold is a concert piece at the Grade 1 level. Students are ready for this piece when they have learned the notes of the concert B flat scale. The piece is actually in the relative minor of G minor.

Quest of the Bold is intended to showcase your low brass and woodwinds. Their solo lines are largely in unison, but the lines must be covered by some combination of trombone, baritone, tuba, bass clarinet, or baritone sax to be successful.
